A print of Indian World at Contact Skin Painting. The map painting is of all the tribes in the US at the time of European contact. The info came from a very old map the artist found at a Mormon History building in Silver Spring MD. Mormans keep amazing geneological records on people and had much contact with Natives early on. Map shows dwelling found in each are. Many Tribes are of original names not use anymore and shows original areas of where they lived. Many cities in the US are named after Tribes. A key with the list of all Tribes on map easier to read will accompany the print.
